On 01 December 2004, at 1247 PM, Laurel Fire Department was dispatched to a MVC, with entrapment. 81 Command responded with 81-15 (Sheridan). 81 Command arrived on scene to find three vehicles involved with 4 patients. Ambulance B-81 was the next unit on scene. 81 Command advised EMS Lt. Condon and Career EMT Whittington that there was no entrapment and their patient was in the white Explorer. The next unit on scene was Rescue 81 with 81-16 (Lecates). Command advised them to Stage the Rescue, and to apply stay dry on the road where there was fluid. Ambulance B-81 transported 1 priority 3 patient to NMH-ER. All other patients were refusals on scene.
