Manure Shed Fire

On Saturday March 26th at approx 0736 hours the LFD, along with Gumboro, Millsboro, and SCEMS were alerted for a Building fire on Ross point road. Deputy Chief Jeff Hill arrived on scene and found a manure shed with light smoke showing. E-3 arrived first and Command advised them to pull down the dirt lane, and pull their front pre-connect and make their attack. Rescue 83 and Engine 79 arrived and assisted on fire extinguishment. Crews pulled some tin from the building, and extinuished a small smoldering area. Additional units arrived and were staged on scene, or Ross point road. Deputy Chief Hill placed incident under control at 0804 hours. Command was terminated and remaining units were placed in service at 0847.
