Trailer Fire

At 0910 hours on October 17th Station 81, 71, & 87 were alerted for a Reported Trailer Fire in Shady Acres Mobile Home Park. Engine 81-3 arrived on scene first with light smoke showing. 81-17 (Asst. Chief Givens) established command. Crews from Engine 3 & Engine 4 put an inch & three-quarter hose line in service. Firefighters found a love seat with light fire. The fire burnt itself out leaving heavy smoke conditions inside the trailer.
Crews on scene ventilated the residence with a positive pressure fan.
Chief Givens placed situation under control at 0928 hours & cleared the scene at 1011 hours.
Fire Marshall?s Office is still investigating the cause of the fire.
