During Fire Prevention Week members of the Laurel Fire Department have been very busy with demonstrations to several schools & daycares.
Many different topics were discussed with children. These included: Stop-Drop & Roll, smoke detectors, firefighters are friends, home escape plan, having a meeting place, how to call -911- and much more.
Parents: Remember to practice your home escape plan with your children & have a meeting place!
