On Thursday morning February the 2nd at approx. 0645 hours the LFD, along with SCEMS, were dispatched to a vehicle into a building, on Bi-State Blvd just south of town. Fire/EMS crews arrived on scene to find a vehicle into the building, with no entrapment. EMS crews checked and packaged the patient for transport. Firefighters pulled a hoseline on account of gasoline spilled in the building. One patient was transported during the incident. Firefighters remained on scene until the towing company removed the vehicle from the building. Speculation was the operator may have had a seizure and lost control of the vehicle. The incident was placed under control at 0724 hours. Last units were back in service at 0741 hours.
