Vehicle Fire

On Friday, April 14, 2006, at 0955 hours Station 81 was alerted for a vehicle fire on Seaford Road just North of Skate World.

81-Command responded with Chief Sheridan. Thick, black smoke could be seen from 2 miles away. Upon his arrival he found a small pick-up truck fully involved. Engine 81-4 responded with Firefighter D. Chaffinch as the officer and a crew of five.

Chief Sheridan had the crew from Engine 81-4 pull the 150? 1 ¾ attack line. The fire was quickly extinguished.

No injuries were reported. All units cleared the scene at 1046 hours.
