Engine 81-2 Runs First Alarm

On July 19, 2006 at 1108 hours, just minutes after the new Engine 81-2 was placed into service it made its first response. At this time Station 81 was alerted for a vehicle accident at Five Points in front of D&C Auto. Assistant Chief Brittingham (81-16) was on scene and advised crews responding there was a total of four patients, all BLS. Assistant Chief A. Schweitzer established command and had his crew secure the vehicle and assist EMS.
A total of four patients were transported to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital.
Wicomico Station 14 provided a Paramedic Stand-By Crew.
