Vehicle Fire- Delaware National Bank

On Thursday, July 27, 2006 at 1203 hours Station 81 was alerted for a reported car fire at the Delaware National Bank on Sussex Highway. Engine 81-2 responded with Chief Sheridan and a crew of four. Upon arrival Chief Sheridan found a Ford Bronco with the engine compartment fully involved.
Assistant Chief Schweitzer arrived on scene and established command. Chief Sheridan and his crew made a quick attack on the fire and had it out within minutes.
