LFD Adds Fourth Career Employee

The LFD would like to welcome aboard Brad Taylor. Brad comes to us from Seaford were he is a volunteer firefighter/EMT. He has 5 years of experience in the fire service. Brad started his service in Laurel on Monday August the 28th 2006.

With the addition to Brad to our career Fire/EMS service this brings our total up to four career personnel. This will allow the LFD to provide EMS coverage from 0600-1800 hours seven days a week. This will also provide the citizens of Laurel faster Emergency Medical Service during daytime hours. Volunteers will still cover from 1800-0600 for now. A committee is in place putting together data to acquire 24-hour coverage for our upcoming future expansions.
