Abandon Trailer Fire

On Thursday September 21st the LFD, along with the Delmar and Sharptown Fire Departments were dispatched for a trailer fire on Watson road west of Laurel. SCEMS arrived on scene first and reported it as an abandon trailer. Engine 1402 arrived with Chief Billy White and began fire extinguishment. Engine 81-2 under direction of Past Chief Bill Hearn arrived and established command. Delmar units were placed in service as their assistance would not be needed. Firefighters extinguished the remains of the trailer and the incident was placed under control shortly after.
