Vehicle Takes A Plunge...

On Saturday, December 30, 2006 at 1313 hours 81-19 (D. Russel) contacted Sussex E.O.C. and advised them of a MVA in front of Laurel Fire Department, Station 2- Sycamore Road.

Chief Engineer Russel found a single vehicle off the road into a pond with negative entrapment. Bystanders stated that the vehicle rolled several times and landed in the pond.

81-15, Chief Sheridan arrived on scene and established Sycamore Command. A-81 responded from Seaford and treated one patient with minor injuries. No patients were transported. A-81 cleared with a patient refusal.

Chief Sheridan terminated command shortly after.
