Fire Could Be Possible Arson

On Thursday May the 31st at 1551 hours, the LFD was dispatched for a vehicle fire on Seaford Road. Asst. Chief Steve Brittingham responded and arrived on scene to find a trailer from a truck on fire. Engine 2 with Chief Mark Sheridan arrived and places a foam line in service. The fire was quickly knocked down by his crew. Engine/Tanker 5 and Engine 3 would arrive and provide water supply and manpower for overhaul. The incident was placed under control at 1605 hours.

The cause is under investigation by DSFM-11 and DSP as a subject was observed near the trailer by witnesses. Subject was also observed on scene after Firefighters arrived on scene for extinguishment.

Units on Scene: Command 81, E-2, E/T-5, E-3, A-81, FM-11, DSP, DSFP.
While units were clearing this incident they were alerted for a vehicle accident on Trussums pond road.
