Annual Awards and Recognition Night

On Saturday February the 9th the LFD held our annual awards and recognition night. Several individuals were recognized or received awards. The top fire responder for 2007 was Jay Hall and the top EMS responder was Aimee Young.

Ferris Fields achieved a mile stone and became a 20 year member earning his lifetime status. B.J. Hitchens took the honor of being Rookie of the year. Greg Adkins got the firefighter service award becoming Fireman of the year for 2007.

Special thanks go out to Shawn Johnson and Gomer Adkins from Delmar for bartending and to the Sharptown FD for standing by for us all night so we could enjoy the banquet.
