Structure Fire - Old Hickory Rd.

At 12:12pm the Sussex EOC alerted Sta.81 Laurel, Sta.74 Delmar & Sta.14 Sharptown for a structure fire at 32279 Old Hickory Rd west of Laurel. 81 Command arrived to find a mobile home with heavy smoke and fire to the rear of the home. Crews did a aggressive attack on the fire. The fire was brought under control in about 20 mins. Fire crews were on scene for about 1 ½ hours. The home suffered extensive damage. No one was home at the time of the fire. The Delaware State Fire Marshals Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
