Laurel Children Place First In County Fire Prevention - Seaford Vol. Fire Dept

The Sussex County Vol. Firemens Assoc. held its annual Fire Prevention Poster and Essay Awards Program on Nov. 25th. The Event was hosted by the Seaford Vol. Fire Dept. Eighth Grade Student Logan Green was awards First Place in the County for her Fire Prevention Essay regarding Escaping a Fire in a Building Other Than Your Home. Third Grader Trace Theofiles was awarded First Place for his Poster on Home Fire Escape. The Fire Department are very proud of these two young people and support them as the proceed to the State Competition on Dec. 14th at the State Fire School.
