LFD Wishes you Safe and Merry Christmas & Happy New Year - Laurel

The officers, members and ladies of the Laurel Fire Dept. would like to wish everyone a Safe and Happy Holiday Season. A few Safety Tips to keep in mind. We all love natural Christmas Trees, however, the must be hydrated. Trees need about one quart of water per day. Then when Christmas is over please recycle them at a State Park Recycle Area. Use Safety around the Kitchen. The kitchen is the most dangerous room in the home. Keep is safe by keeping kids away from hot surfaces. Turn pan handles in towards the back of the stove. Also have a Fire Extinguisher handy. If purchasing a toy such as a scooter, bike or ATV, remember to read the owners manual and be familar with all Safety equipment.
