Woods fire Old Stage Road - Old Stage s/o Millsboro Hwy.

On Sunday afternoon LFD responded for a Brush Fire on Old Stage Road. Deputy Chief Mike Lowe responded as Incident Command. Upon arrival Lowe found a large volume of smoke behind a residence in the woods. Brush 81-1 was first on scene with Asst. Chief Eric Whaley as Officer. Brush 1 and Brush 0 attacked the fire, Eng. 81-3 established a water supply and E/T 81-5 was staged on the Highway. Units cleared in about 30 minutes.
