LFD Cadets Participate in Progressive Ag Safety Day - Chickberry Farms

On Octobe 22nd the Fire Dept. and it's Cadets participated in a Progressive Ag Safety Day which was presented for the First Grade of Dunbar Elem. Progressive Ag Safety provides education to children who live in rural settings on hazards that pertain to their area. The Future Farms of America acted as the presenters for the program, being supplied talking points and props from the Univ. of Del. Ext. Office, the Delaware State Fire School and Chickberry Farms. In all 223 children had a fun, educational day on the Farm.
