2010 Poster & Essay Awards Program - LFD Banquet Hall

On Nov. 14th LFD held it's annual Fire Prevention Poster & Essay Awards Program. Approximately 110 people were in attendance that honored winners in Kindergarten through 8th grade for their efforts. DVFA President Bill Tobin was on hand as a presentor as was Laurel Fire Dept. Vice-President Mike Carroll, Sussex County Chief's President Terry Jester and DVFA Past President Ron Marvel. Guy Hudson, Chairman of the State Fire & Life Safety Committee was the Master of Ceremonies. First Place winners move on to the County Competition. Children received plaques, gift cards from Target as well as their picture taken with Sparky. MORE PICTURES TO FOLLOW
