Laurel Responds To Report of Smoke In Structure - Calio Plaza

On December 7th around 1642 hours the Laurel Fire Department was alerted for a Structure Fire at Calio Plaza. Truck Captain Mark Sheridan responded in 81 Command and was advised that the occupants from Ed's Nascar and Dr. Carmean's office smelled smoke within their building. Engine 81-2 arrived on location under the direction of Rescue Captain Donnie Layton and were directed to investigate inside the structure. Crews checked the interior and exterior of the building with negative results. Command placed the situation under control moments later.
