Motor Vehicle Accident - County Seat Highway

On Saturday January 8th as crews were enroute to a control burn on Willow St. EOC alerted the station for a MVA on County Seat Highway. The unexpected snowfall had covered the roadways and made them hazardous. 81 Commmand with Assistant Chief's Keith LeCates and Eric Whaley responded. 81-3 and A-81 also responded. Crews arrived on scene to find a van in ditch with the driver out of the vehicle. Crews secured the van as the driver was checked by the Ambulance crew. Fire Police remainded on scene to assist with traffic until the wrecker arrived.
