Reported Unknown Fire is an Abandoned Trailer - Portsville Road

As the evening hours approached the LFD was alerted for a fire nature unknown on portsville road. EMS Captain Brett Morris responded and arrived on scene to find a single wide trailer fully involved. The trailer being located well off the roadway, and into the woods made access impossible for large fire apparatus. Brush trucks were used to gain access, and begin fire suppression. An additional brush truck was alerted to the scene from Sharptown to assist. Firefighters extinguished the remains of the trailer, which was a total loss when first units arrived on scene. The cause is undetermined at this time.
