Unattended Cooking Damages Kitchen - Bi-State BLVD

The LFD along with Delmar and Sharptown Fire Departments were dispatched for a structure fire on Bi State Blvd just south of Laurel. Captain Brandon Givens arrived on scene in Command 81 to find light smoke showing. Delmar firefighters made a quick knockdown of the fire in the kitchen containing it to the stove and upper cabinets. Laurel firefighters set up PPV and assisted in overhaul. Sharptown crews were diverted to station 81 for cover up. Command placed the incident under control shortly after.
