Annual Banquet - Laurel

After delaying the annual banquet for a month due to the renovations member attended the annual banquet on Saturday evening March 17th. The evening was emceed by Ron Marvel from Seaford. The awards for top responders, service awards, rookie of the year and firefighter of the year for 2011 were presented after the meal catered by Fletcher's Catering. Members honored for top responses for fire calls were Keith LeCates, Richard Wells, Donnie Layton, Brandon Givens, James Nelson, Brandon Spicer, Richard Russell, Ron Scott, Jay Hall and Zack LeCates. Top Responders for the ambulance were Mark Sheridan, Ashley Hill, CJ Dickerson, Dale Brown, AC Calloway, Janet Sansone, Rachael Springer, Brett Morris, Deanna Loeb and Brandon Givens. Rookie of the year went to CJ Dickerson. George Torbert was presented with the firefighter of the year award. Several members were honored for their years of service also. After the awards programs members were entertained by A&B Audio.
