Reported Building Fire - Hollybrook Apts. Discount Land Rd

At approx. 2249 hours the Laurel, Blades and Seaford Fire Departments were dispatched for a reported structure fire at the Hollybrook Apartments. Command 81 with Fire Chief Jeff Hill responded and arrived on scene to find smoke showing from the apartment. E-2 arrived on scene and extinguished the sofa that was the origin of the fire. Tower 81 arrived and assisted with ventilation and searches of the upper apartments. The fire was placed under control shortly after. Blades and Seaford units were cancelled prior to their arrival. Fire was contained to the living room area of the apartment and no other unit’s sustained damage.
