RV Fire - Trap Pond State Park

On the afternoon hours of Sept. 14th the LFD was alerted for a vehicle fire at the Trap Pond State Park. Captain Brett Morris responded in Command 81 and was advised of a RV on fire. Captain Morris arrived on scene to find a RV with heavy fire in the front of the vehicle. E-2 arrived on scene and began fire extinguishment. E-4 arrived next and assisted with the attack and overhaul. Tanker 81-5 arrived and supplied additional water. Captain Morris placed incident under control shortly after. Despite efforts from firefighters the RV was a total loss.
