Warehouse Fire S. Shipley St and Harrington St - Seaford, Delaware

September 26, 2012 at approximately 0432 Laurel Fire Department was dispatched for Engine cover-up at Station 71 (Blades). 87 Command (Seaford Fire Chief Mark O’Bier) quickly upgraded the response to an assist with a warehouse fire at S Shipley Street and Harrington Street. Tower 81 responded with a crew of 4 under the direction of Deputy Chief Mark Sheridan. Tower 81 was assigned to back down between two other warehouses off Harrington Street and setup aerial operations on the C/D corner. Engine 81-2 responded with a crew of 5 under the direction of Asst. Chief Eric Whaley and assisted with water supply for aerial operations for Ladder Tower 87, Tower 81 and Truck 14. Units remained on the scene to 0730.
