MVA County Seat Hwy - Laurel

At 1428 EOC alerted 81 for a Motor Vehicle Accident on County Seat Hwy. east of Fire Tower Road. Chief Jeff Hill responded with 81 Command. Engine 81-2 with Asst. Chief Walker and a crew of 5 responded from the Sycamore Station. Engine 81-3 with past Asst. Chief Layton and a crew of 5 responded from the 10th St. station. Upon arrival crews found a vehicle had left the roadway and struck a tree. Two female subjects were evaluated by the EMS crew and 1 patient was transported while 1 refused service. Engine crews checked the vehicle and assisted the EMS crew with patient loading. The scene was turned over to Delaware State Police and units returned to their stations. Units on scene 81-C, B-81, 81-2, 81-3, FP81-31, FP81-32, FP81-34 and DSP.
