On Monday afternoon August the 5th the Delmar (74), Laurel (81), and Salisbury Station 2 were alerted for a structure fire with a subject trapped. Deputy 74 (Rementer) arrived on scene and established Command. He with assistance from a Delmar PD Officer threw a ladder and assisted the subject down from the second floor of the burning structure. E 74-3 arrived and advanced a hose line into the building. E 81-4 arrived and assisted with a secondary hose line. Truck 2 arrived and set up on the A and D corner and opened up the roof. Truck 74 arrived and set up on the A and B corner. E 81-2 and Rescue 74 arrive and provide manpower. Deputy 74 requested additional engines to the scene bringing in Hebron 507 and Gumboro 79-1.Tower 81 arrived and is advised by command to throw ladders to windows. Firefighters worked for approx 2 hours to bring the incident under control. One subject was transported to PRMC with minor injuries and kittens were pulled from the home during incident.
