House Fire

On Easter morning at 02:55 hours, Laurel Fire Dept., Blades, Georgetown and SCEMS were alerted for a house fire on West Court in Shiloh Farms. Deputy Chief Mark Sheridan responded as 81 Command. He arrived to find a 2 1/2 story wood frame home with it's garage fully involved with extension into the home. Eng 81-4 arrived with Asst. Chief Tim West and led off with an attack with a 2 1/2" line. Tower 81 with Chief Keith Lecates advanced an additional line. Eng/Tnk 81-5 established water supply with Chief Eng. Mark Oliphant being water supply officer. Blades and Georgetown provided manpower to the structure and assisted with water supply. Millsboro Fire Co. was alerted for it's tractor trailer to establish a nurse tanker. Sharptown Fire Dept. responded to cover Sta. 81 and assist with filling Engines at a hydrant in town. Two civilians were treated on scene by Laurel and Georgetown EMS.
