Congratulations to New SCEMS hires

Bill Rose and Brandon Givens were recently hired by SCEMS as new paramedic appointments.

Bill was previously Asst. Chief of EMS for Laurel Fire Dept. He had been with Laurel for six years. Bill volunteers at Bridgeville where he has served as Asst. Chief. He is a member of the Sussex County Technical Rescue Team and is an active instructor with the Delaware State Fire School. He received his paramedic degree through Chesapeake College.

Brandon has served the Laurel Fire Dept. for 15 years and currently serves as Engine Capt., he has prevously served as Ambulance Lieutenant. Brandon joined LFD as a cadet and successfully advanced through the process to a full member to officer status.He also received his degree through Chesapeake College.
