Mobile Home destroyed by morning fire

At 07:00 hours on April 9th, LFD along with Delmar, Sharptown and SCEMS were alerted for a structure fire at the intersection of Bacons Rd. and St. Georges Road. Asst. Chief Mike Lowe responded as 81 Command. He was notified by Delmar Capt. Steve Twilley that he was on scene and the fire involved a mobile home with heavy fire showing.

Engine 81-4 arrived on scene with Capt. Zac Lecates. They advanced an attack line to the front of the mobile home. Rescue 74 arrived on scene and advanced a second line. Chief Joe Morris was assigned Operations Officer. Tankler 74 established water supply. Eng. Tanker 14 arrived with Chief Bily White and relieved attack crews and provided overhaul.

No injuires were reported and the fire is under investigation by the Delaware State Fire Marshals Office.
