Department using Microsoft Teams to communicate face to face via web

On Thursday April 23rd under the direction of Information Technology Officer Aaron Carey. Laurel Fire Department held there first ever web conference with all the members to bring everyone up to date on our response to Covid-19. Meeting started at 7:30 pm under the Direction of Chief Jeff Hill and President Bill Hearn. We updated all our members on the status of our operations at the current time and future predictions. We opened the video conference to multiple members to give updates on there departments locally and county. This was a great experience by all member to utilize technology to carry on day to day operations and continue to protect and serve the residents of Laurel and surrounding communities. We hope everyone stays safe at this time and follows all the recommendations set fourth by the CDC. And we will continue to be here when you need us.
