Fire Destroys Laurel Garage

On March 13th at approximately 11:30 hours the Laurel Fire Department was alerted for a structure fire on Randall St. As part of Mutual Aid Agreements, Delmar, Sharptown and Medic 107 were also alerted.

Capt. Tim Walker responded as 81 Command. Eng. 81-4 was the first engine on scene. The first arriving Engine was 81-4 with Past Chief Jeff Hill on board.

The crew from Eng #4 began an aggressive attack. Eng. /Tnk 81-5 was next on scene with Asst. Chief Keith LeCates. The crew from 81-5 began assisting attack crews and established water supply to 81-4.

Arriving crews from Delmar and Sharptown assisted with clean-up. Units cleared the scene in about 60 minutes.
