Laurel Hosts Water Rescue Level II CLass

In late July the Laurel Fire Department hosted the Delaware State Fire School?s Water Rescue Level II Class.

Classroom time was spent on the presentation of information regarding Safe Boating, Rescue Techniques and Legal Requirements. On the final day of the class, students gathered at Phillips Landing to practice evolutions on launching, docking, towing and other procedures regarding safe rescue.
