LFD Responds - Market Street Apts.

On Thursday November the 4th at approx 0931 hours the LFD responded to a Automatic fire alarm at the market street apartments in downtown Laurel. Fire Chief Mark Sheridan arrived on scene first in command 81 and advised of a 3 story masonary with nothing evident from side one. E-4 with past chief Bill Hearn arrives and command advised Hearn to have crew check apartment on second floor for possible pot on stove with smoke condition. E-3 arrives and stages at hydrent. Tower 81 is advised to set up in front of the building. Interior crews report pot on stove with no major smoke conditions and situation is under control inside. Command placed incident under control at 0941 hours. Last units were inservice at 1001.
