MVC Injury''s Two

On Wednesday August the 3rd at approx. 1438 hours the LFD, along with SCEMS and Trooper 2 were dispatched to a MVC on Sussex highway, and the cross street of MT. Zion road. SCEMS (102) and Command 81 (Sheridan) arrived on scene and determined Trooper 2 could be cancelled, and placed in service. Ambulance 81 arrived and assisted ALS with patient care and packaging. Command 81 advised Rescue 81 to split their crew and assist on packaging and loading of the patients and secure the vehicles. Ambulance 71 (Blades) was alerted for an additional BLS unit on the scene and arrived to transport the second patient. Command 81 placed the incident under control at 1507 hours. Two priority 2 patients were transported to NMH during the incident. Last units were in service at 1538 hours.
