Two Vehicle MVC

On November 12th at 1244 hours LFD along with SCEMS, and Trooper 2 were dispatched to a MVC with entrapment on Laurel Road. Deputy Chief Hill responded in Command 81 and arrived on scene to find a two vehicle collision with entrapment in the green vehicle. Ambulance 81 arrived with SCEMS (102) and began patient care. Engine 3 arrived and started stabilization on the vehicles. Rescue 81 arrived and their crew performed a door pop to extricate the driver. An additional Ambulance was requested from Blades, but was not utilized due to a patient being air-lifted and another refusing service. Two patients were packaged by BLS/ALS and assisted by Firefighters on the scene. Both patients were transported, and one refusal was obtained on scene by BLS. Deputy Chief Hill placed incident under control at 1308 hours. Last units were clear and back in service at 1357.
