Vehicle Into Garage

On Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at 1202 hours Station 81 was alerted for a MVC on Bi-State Blvd. at Dukes Road. B-81 arrived on scene to find a black car into a two car garage. The crew then advised Sussex that entrapment was involved with a Priority 2 patient and another ambulance was needed. Medic 102, Trooper 2, & Station 74 EMS were also dispatched
Rescue 81 arrived on scene and Assistant Chief Schweitzer established Dukes Road Command. Rescue crew assisted EMS crew and began stabilization of the vehicle. After the door was popped back crews were able to remove the patient from the vehicle.
Medic 102 & B-81 transferred care to Trooper 2. A-74 treated & transported patient to the hospital.
Command was placed under control at 1223 hours and all units cleared the scene at 1257 hours.
