Station 81 Undergoes Remodel: Part I

Currently Laurel Fire Department is undergoing a renovation of the Administration Offices. Construction began on December 29, 2005 and is expected to be completed within 90 days.
The remodel will provide more office space and a training room. The plans also include a facility for Sussex County Paramedics ? Station 102.
This remodel is only Part I. Sometime in the near future there will be a remodel of the Engine Bay, Banquet Hall, & plans for a Sub-Station.
Construction is progressing well with the walls set in place, and drywall applied, along with tile being laid in the restrooms. We hope to have them completed by our annual banquet night on February the 11th.
