New Brush And Engine Placed Into Service

Chief Mark Sheridan and the members of the Laurel FD are proud to place in service our new Brush truck and Pierce Engine. Engine 81-2 is a 2006 Pierce Dash with a 16'''' raised roof, 1500 GPM pump, NY style water tank with 750 gallons of water that also features a Husky 12 Foam system. Brush 81-1 has a 225 gallon poly water tank, 8 gallon foam cell, with a hale 18 HP gasoline pump, and electric ground sweeps. These units make a total of five now in service with our new paint scheme black over red.
