Tractor Trailer Overturned- Sussex Highway

On Thursday, February 08, 2007 Sussex E.O.C. alerted 81, Medic 102, and Trooper 2 for a MVA with reported rollover on Sussex Highway, just North of Whitesville Road.
A-81 responded and Medic 102 shortly behind them. Upon arrival ALS & BLS crews found a tractor trailer with no trailer attached, turned onto its side with no entrapment. Trooper 2 was cancelled. Captain Jason Boyce arrived and established Sussex Highway Command. A-81 transported one patient to PRMC with minor injuries. Fire/Rescue crews from Engine 81-2 & 81-4 awaited the arrival of the tow company and cleaned debris from the roadway.
