On Friday, February 01, 2007 Sussex E.O.C. alerted Stations 74, 81, & 79 for a reported structure fire on Whitesville Road.
74 Command arrived on scene to find a 15 x 30 shed fully involved. Command was advised by the property owner that there were several small propane tanks inside the structure.

Engine-Tanker 74-2 arrived and pulled a 1 ¾ inch attack line. Engine 81-5 arrived shortly after 74-2 and pulled an additional hand line off of Engine 74-2. Engine 79 arrived and assisted with extinguishing the fire. While crews were working several of the propane tanks blew.

It took Fire crews approximately 15 minutes to have the fire under control. At this time The Delaware State Fire Marshal?s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
