In Loving Memory of Gerald Brown

It is with our most sincere and deepest regrets to inform you that Past President Gerald ''''Gump'''' Brown, Jr. has answered his last alarm on Tuesday, April 3rd 2007. Gerald became a member of the Laurel Fire Department on November 22, 1993.

As a member of the fire company he served as a Fire Fighter, EMT, EMS Lieutenant, Trustee, Assistant Chief Engineer, Engineer and President of the Laurel Fire Department. Gerald was Rookie of the Year in 1994 and was given the honor of Fireman of the Year in 2003.

If ever there was something to be done at the fire house, Gerald was the first one to pitch in and help out. Gerald was very instrumental in establishing the fire departments substation on Sycamore Road.
