LFD On Unusual MVC

On Wednesday May 30th at approx. 1215 hours the LFD was dispatched to a MVC on Fourth Street off Central Avenue. Fire/EMS crews arrived on scene to find a vehicle had struck a parked car, and ended up on two wheels resting on the side of the other car. The operator of the vehicle had freed himself prior to our arrival, and was not injured. He was checked by EMS, however refused transport to hospital. Rescue workers stabilized the vehicle until area-towing company could remove the vehicle. The incident was placed under control at 1223 hours. Last units were placed in service at 1315 hours.
Chief Mark Sheridan had command of the incident.
