LFD Honored for their Appearance at Fire Prevention Parade

On Sunday October 14th the Delmarva Firemen?s Association held its 51st Annual Fire Prevention Queen?s Contest and Parade. This year?s event was hosted by the Denton, Maryland Fire Company.

A group spent hours preparing for the parade and showing pride in the equipment they have. Laurel Fire Department received four awards for their appearance at the parade.

Laurel was honored to have the Best Appearing Aerial Device. They received a Judge?s Recognition Award for the appearance of their 2006 Pierce Engine.

They were chosen to have the second best Fire Apparatus in the Parade and were very honored to be chosen as the Best Overall Fire Department in the Parade.
