MVC with entrapment - Fire Tower Road

At 1944 hours the LFD was dispatched for a MVC with injuries on Fire Tower road just south of Sycamore road. Deputy Chief Hill responded and arrived on scene first in command 81. Deputy Chief Hill found a single vehicle into a pole, with the operator still inside, and wires down. BLS arrived and staged to assure scene was safe. Rescue 81 arrived and crew determined it was ok to proceed with caution. A door pop was done to free the driver and he was quickly removed from the area. ALS was called due to the mechanism and he was transported to PRMC. Deputy Chief Hill placed the incident under control at 2006 hours. Last units were clear the scene turning it over to DSP and the power company at 2022 hours.
