Vehicle Fire - Fire Tower Road and County Seat Hwy

Sussex County Emergency Operations Center Callboard dispatched station 81 (Laurel) to a vehicle fire on Fire Tower Road and County Seat Hwy at 1759 hours. At 1801 hours Command went responding with 81-18. Sussex advised 81-Command of a fully involved car at the intersection of Fire Tower Road and County Seat Hwy. 81-command arrived on scene at 1804 hours to find the scene as reported. 81-4 arrived on scene at 1806 hours and started fire suppression. 81-2 arrived on scene at 1809 hours and was asked to assist the crew from 81-4. A-81 arrived on scene and was told to stage on Fire Tower Road and to stay available in case of a second emergency in the district. Rescue 81 arrived on scene at 1812 hours with the same assessment as A-81. Situation was placed under control at 1811 hours. All units returned at 1838 hours.
