LFD Responds To Machinery Fire - Gordy Road-Cypress Turf

On July 31, 2009 Laurel Fire Department along with several mutual aid departments were alerted for a reported structure fire in the area of Cypress Turf. Command 81 responded with Chief Steve Brittingham. Command arrived on scene to find a combine with fire shooting from the rear of the machinery. Fire was extinguished and situation was placed under control shortly thereafter.
