Two Vehicle MVC at Whaley's Crossroads - Whaley's Crossroads

On Saturday evening Aug. 28th at 22:05 hours LFD was alerted for an MVC at the intersection of Laurel Road and E. Trap Pond Road. This is the area known as Whaley's Crossroads. Deputy Chief Mike Lowe responded as 81 Command. EMS units arrived on scene and advised there where three patients all priority three. Lowe arrived on scene and established Laurel Road Command. Sussex EOC alerted Gumboro VFC for an additional BLS unit to respond to the scene. Units remained on scene and assisted with clean up. Two patients were transported to NMH and one refused treatment.
